A friend and I were discussing recent movie trailers, and he mentioned Ridley Scott's Napoleon. When I got home, I decided to check it out. The next day, inspiration struck: I envisioned three individual panels, each featuring a monarch insect screen-printed on black, gold, and silver backgrounds, with tiny bees patterned at the top. The piece celebrates the Warrior, Emperor, General, Genius, Rebel, and Tyrant. Ironically, I still haven't seen the movie to this day.
